I’m broke but I had fun

Hello eveybody!

It’s been a while again 😦 March was pretty busy. Lots of classes, projects and stuff. But it was also a very fun month… I had a lot to look forward to and that is what I want to share with you guys!

As I mentioned a couple of times before, I am not a person to go to clubs and parties. The thing I do like very much is going to concerts. Which you might have noticed as well. This month I’ve been to 3, yes 3 concerts and they were AMAZING!

first one up is the performance of Nicolas. Nicolas is a magician who became famous on Belgium’s Got Talent. Later on he got his own tv-show. And this year he did live performances in ‘small town’ theatre. (because magic is more fun up close). He was amazing! Mostly it were basics tricks with a twist which gives it actually a pretty big ‘wow’-effect. The only thing I didn’t like as much was the audience participation. I was scared to dead that he was going to pull my up on stage. 1/3 of the show I felt panic. But still really really great!! (sorry no pics of this one)

A week later came the concert I never knew I needed or even come to Belgium. “Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone IN CONCERT”. I am a massive Harry Potter fan (which I will prove again later this post). I was looking forward to this moment from the minute I bought the tickets. My sister and her friend and my best friend ans me got on the train to Antwerp.

And that was quite a story. A probably drunk man started yelling at us (in Italian we guesses) because we were talking to each other. For a whole hour he did so. When we got of the train he followed us through the station. And because of the terror alarm here, there were army guys. We told them and they immediately when to check on him. Thank you, army guys!!

The concert itself was just unbelievable! our conductor was such a funny guy. He told us to feel free to cheer for our favorite house or favorite character as much as we wanted. The first immense cheer was for Mister Olivander, but the biggest introduction cheer was for non other than Professor Severus Snape. We all cheered when first years were put in our houses, we cheered at the quidditch match. It was so much fun, and because of that it really felt as if you were actually IN the movie! Just MAGICAL!

And then there was the moment I’ve been waiting for almost 3 years! Lindsey Stirling finally returned to belgium with the Brave Enough Tour! I’ve been stalking her social media for so long and this month she came back. And I only cried 3 times. I was accompanied by my ‘equally obsessed with Lindsey Stirling’ – friend. It was so so so perfect, even better than I had imagined. If you don’t know her look her up!

Lindsey Striling is a dancing violist. her music is a mix of dubstep and pop (I think, I don’t know that much about music). But she danced almost all the time along with her back up dancers. Throughout the show she shared stories, personal stories, the meanings of her songs. She is such a strong person and a fighter. it was funny too, the whole band played some song on toy instruments, how cool is that! She is amazing and I don’t think any concert will ever top this one. AND she actually stood 3 meters away from my, I could’ve touched her if I wanted, but she was playing so I couldn’t.
crying moments: when it started – one of the stories she told – the encore song

And then last but definitely not least. Because surprisingly enough within a month I made friends, like actual friend I don’t have to put effort in to like. How come, you ask? They love Harry Potter as much as I do! We all went to FACTS together, cosplaying as HP character (rather poorly, only had a month to prep, because we’ve been friends for only a month). FACTS is the Belgian Comic Con, and it was my first time. I felt like a toddler in a theme park. I was so happy!

If any Belgian people are reading this, and went to Facts on saturday, we were the people handing out compliments to every one :p Such a Hufflepuff thing to do

Well this was a very long post, sorry about that. Anyway hope you liked it. I have a feeling this post isn’t organised at all… oops, I will revise it soon

read y’all later

Finally Vacation!

Hello everyone!

So this week hasn’t been as productive as I planned it to be. That’s why the London Primark Haul is being postponed, sowwy! I decided I’m just gonna do a little update on my life and then I can continue to binge watch Gilmore Girls :p

Last week was my first official real vacation! whoow! I was home the week before that, but I was sick and I couldn’t move, so I had to stay home lie down and be a plant for almost a week. But I was glad it was then and not in my actual free time.

Did watch a lot of films, did see most of those films more than once, because I suck at searching for new ones. So it was Disney’s Descendance, Love, Rosie, Stuck in Love and Pitch Perfect for a week. Descendance is actually a pretty cool movie, and damn the son of Belle and Adam (Beast) is so cute. Totally my type! And he can sing, dancing… not really, but hey who cares 😉
The other three movies I know by heart, that’s how much I’ve seen and love them.

And then last week, luckily I felt much much better. My first two days were cleaning the house, because I had a Movie Marathon sleepover on wednesday with my friend Senne (again being awesome and promting his  youtube channel). We watched movies I love and he hasn’t seen, which are mostly movies he doesn’t like, which makes it even funnier.

we watched
Pitch Perfect (Duh! I practically said the whole script while watching. Super annoying I know.)
The Babadook (which is suppose to be a super scary psychological horror movie, which I have been mentally preparing for for months. Well it sucks, isn’t scary or any good. But that’s just my opinion)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Because you can never see/read to many Harry Potter)
Up (Is and will always be an amazing Pixar movie, luckily I didn’t cry, because I may or may not have fallen asleep for some scenes)
Inside Out (In my opinion way to overrated, it was a bit boring, and I fell asleep)
And then we also watched the first 2 episodes of Breaking Bad. I do not like that show, It’s all so boring, please let there be other people who don’t like it, because according to him, I’m to first person he knows that doesn’t like it. (same senario happened when I said I didn’t like Orange is the new black)
The close of we watched The Numbr 23, which I saw about 4 years ago, and I thought it was awesome. It still was good, but less impressed. 14 year olds are much easier to ‘wow’ I guess.

Friday was a boring day, I had to catch up on sleep. But friday night was cool. I couldn’t sleep at all, so at 3am I decided to do something, because I wasn’t gonna fall asleep very soon. So I got my sketchblock and my pencils out and I just draw Lucy Hale, it turned out pretty well I think!

Oh saturday was fun, I was really bored so I started making a birthdaycard for my friend, and I was getting excited and getting her excited like “who knows what it will look like, full of glitter, maybe even wings”. and her response was obviously “Oh my, I want wings on my card, give me wings!”. Being a cool friend and extremely bored I made her a winged card, I still cannot believe I did that.

I hope she will like the gifts we bought her!!

I’m really excited for our birthday party tomorrow! It’s called NovemberFest in August, because our birthdays are actually in November, but we wanted a sunny birthday for once and not grey and rainy. But karma is ahead of us again, looks like its gonna be grey, rainy and windy tomorrow. What have we done wrong 😦 But we’re gonna have fun anyway!

That was it for this week hope you liked it and see you again normally next week!!

Christmas happened :D

Hi there!

As we all know christmas has passed and it’s almost New Year! *Excitement everywhere*I love the holiday season, lots of lights and colours. And sales *Shop til you drop*.

I always find Christmas eve and Christmas passing so quick. It’s over before it started. I actually like the built up to the holidays more than the holiday itself. It’s not like we’re getting presents from everybody, I’m too old for that. I’m kinda stuck is the boring fase of family parties. I’m too old to play and get presents, but everybody in my family, except my sister, is at least 10 years older than me. I don’t have anybody to talk too (I’m feeling sorry for everybody in the same position). Luckily there is the built up like I said.

The days before Christmas eve were busy. Monday I went present shopping with my dad and my sister. There are 2 sides on shopping with your dad;
1) you will certainly do all the shops you want too, because it goes faster than with your mom or friends.
2) Sometimes it goes too fast, my dad pointed so many clothes, because he thought the sooner I find something, the sooner we can get out of here. And I think it worked we were back short after noon 😉
When we got home I ate and watched my favorite animated Disney film of all time TANGLED! Like OMG how good is it! I mean Flynn Rider *drools into a bucket*. :*

Tuesday was a moneymaking day. I went babysitting on my neighbor’s kids for the day. Sweet kids, as long as you don’t play any games with winning or losing, because that cute 5-year old will curse the hell out of you. where do they get those words? Lucky for me his older sister backs me up every time 😉 But I love babysitting, it fun, I like playing with kids and you get money for it. I just don’t understand why 5 year olds need Ipad, or phones. I don’t get it.

Okay, let’s move on to wednesday. Last minute clothes shopping with my dad, again. He needed clothes for the evening and I would get stuff if I went with him. If he goes shopping alone he brings back the ugliest things in the store. My dad is also partly colour blind, there are colours he doesn’t see, like red and orangey things and thinks they’re green. He know a lot of different greens. And because of that, and not because I still hadn’t found a proper dress, I went shopping with him. My dad got shoes, shirts and pants and I got a little black dress and black heels. And lots of earrings, Sales only count when you buy 2 pieces. 😉

Christmas Eve itself was rather boring, I had no one to talk to, but they did put on a Disney movie, Pinocchio, for my nephew. I was more interested in that then the conversation :p After Pinocchio, we chose toy Story, but I fell asleep. Waking up at 3am with convo’s about Illuminati isn’t the greatest subject. But it escalated quickly from Illuminati to calling ghost, to illuminati in politics, to terrorists and from there to teen moms, all in half an hour. Hard to follow when you’re half asleep 😉 but hey, there was food.

Me, just in time to take one quick pic before leaving :)

Me, just in time to take one quick pic before leaving 🙂

After that I’ve been confused which day it was, and mostly watched series in bed all day and ate, of course. Oh yeah, yesterday the first snow fell, I only like snow to watch, nothing else. It’s a disaster when it starts melting. So I haven’t made an Olaf yet, but maybe I will.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…

Next week it’s New Year’s Eve, first small family dinner and after midnight I’m going to a party with my friends 😀 I’ll let you know how that went 😉
